Two Russian missiles struck the center of Kramatorsk on Tuesday evening, hitting a building housing a pizza restaurant full of customers.
As of 10 a.m. on June 28, the strike has been confirmed to have caused the death of 10 people and left at least 56 others injured, according to a report from Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
Three children – one 17 years old and two 14-year sisters – were among those who lost their lives. A child born in 2022 was also seriously injured.

“Rescuers are taking apart the rubble of the destroyed structure and continue to search for people who are probably still under it,” said emergency services officials.
According to a report by The Moscow Times, Three citizens of Colombia were injured during the strike. They have been confirmed as Sergio Jaramillo, the founder of an organization supporting Ukraine in South America, Colombian MP Sergio Jaramillo, writer Hector Abad, and journalist Catalina Gomez. They were accompanied by Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, who was hospitalized in serious condition.
