On the night of March 2, Russian forces launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. As reported by the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian police, one of the missiles hit a five-story apartment building, killing three people and injuring six.
10 apartments, located from the second to the fifth floor, were destroyed. The blast wave also damaged some nearby buildings. Rescuers are working at the scene.
Ukraine initiated a criminal case on the violation of the laws and customs of war following the strike.
