Pavel Prigozhin, the son of repeat offender and owner of the Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin, is fighting against Ukraine in the outfit of NATO troops, according to Mozhem Obyasnit (“We Can Explain”) Telegram channel.

The image studied by the journalists had been published in September by Nadana Fridrikhson, a “war correspondent” for Komsomolskaya Pravda. “I’ve met the Wagner PMC ‘musicians’. Yevgeny Prigozhin's son Pavel is also among them. He is in this photo,” she wrote in her Telegram channel. Bellingcat analyst Ariс Toler was able to identify Pavel using a photo from his deleted page on the Russian social network Vkontakte.

Mozhem Obyasnit found that in this photo, Pavel wears a helmet similar to the American Enhanced Combat Helmet, wrapped in a NATO Multicam cover. Such a helmet costs up to $1,500. He also wears Mechanix M-Pact tactical shooting gloves and Lowa Zephyr tactical boots, which cost around $400. Prigozhin's son has a vest by the British manufacturer DCS Warrior Assault System, costing $340. The only Russian-made piece of equipment on Pavel was his Rys kneepads.

Late in November, Mozhem Obyasnit pointed out that the former head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, was fighting in a NATO outfit. After that, Prigozhin’s press service published an answer to the question of whether Rogozin had indeed crossed paths with Wagner PMC fighters in the Donbas. “Putin's chef” scolded the Russian official for his equipment: «If a man in NATO gear approached any of Wagner PMC positions, I think we would send him away in a body bag for identification.”
