The deputy head of the occupation administration of Ukraine's Kherson Region, Kirill Stremousov, has died, RT reported quoting a source in the security services as saying. The cause of Stremousov's apparent death was a “road traffic accident.»

Stremousov's death was previously reported by pro-Kremlin channels and propagandist bloggers.

Propaganda war correspondent Semyon Pegov claims that the incident happened near Henichesk, which was allegedly reported by Stremousov's personal driver.

Stremousov's death was later confirmed by Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozzhayev, as well as a spokesman for the head of the pro-Russian administration.

Doctors are working at the scene of an accident involving Kirill Stremousov, there is no official information about his death, the head of the Kherson regional Health Ministry has said. “Information about his death is not official. As soon as doctors assess his condition, we will provide information,” the ministry said.

Stremousov's death could have been staged, said Yuriy Sobolevsky, deputy head of Kherson regional council.
