Businessman Oleg Tinkov says via his Instagram account he’s started the process of withdrawing his brand Tinkoff from the bank.
“I am against this war, and the killing of peaceful people. Moreover, I’ve started the process of withdrawing my Tinkoff brand from the Bank,” he wrote.
On October 31, Oleg Tinkov revealed he had renounced his Russian citizenship:
“I can’t bear to see my former compatriots killing and robbing peaceful people for nothing. I want to “unsee” it all, especially after what I had to go through in the last three years. There is only one life, and it is priceless. I hope more and more businessmen will follow me and stop working for fascism and give up their businesses and citizenship,” the businessman wrote.
On November 1, this post disappeared from his page. Tinkov stated it was not his fault, but some “trolls” were to blame.
