The mayor of Belgorod reports that debris from a rocket hit a high-rise apartment building. Eyewitnesses posted the footage on social media. It is not yet known what type of missile was involved.
According to the governor of the Belgorod region, it was an attack by the AFU:
“An apartment building in Gubkin Street has been damaged. The information about victims is being clarified. Mayor Anton Ivanov and all operative services are on the spot,” Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
Reports say air defense is active in the city. An ambulance and rescue workers are on the scene.
