In the Belgorod region, a KamAZ military truck collided with a Renault car killing its 42-year-old driver and a 15-year-old girl. A 40-year-old female passenger was also hospitalized with injuries.
According to the local Department of Internal Affairs, the accident occurred on May 29 in the Valuiki municipal district. The police say the 25-year-old KamAZ driver did not yield to the moving car when making a left turn.
Judging by the posted photos and video, an army KamAZtruck with the letter V was involved in the accident (the Z and V symbols are painted on Russian military equipment used in the invasion of Ukraine).
In the Belgorod region, as well as in other Russian regions bordering on Ukraine, the »yellow» level of terrorist alert was declared back in April. After the start of the «military operation» those regions' authorities repeatedly claimed their regions had been shelled. On May 11, it was reported that 18-year-old Ruslan Nefedov was killed, and seven others were wounded because of the shelling of the village of Solokhi. And on May 27 the authorities reported that a woman had been killed in the village of Zhuravlevka, Belgorod region.
On April 1, there were explosions and a fire at an oil depot in Belgorod. The strike was reportedly carried out by two attack helicopters. The Russian Defense Ministry blamed Ukraine for the attack.
